Current information for our business partners

The number of people infected with coronavirus COVID-19 is rising every day. At HANNING & KAHL, we are following a strategy of prevention and have taken various precautionary measures to protect our staff and maintain our business operations.

From 19.10.2020 on, all guests and visitors to HANNING & KAHL must wear face masks / mouth-nose protection at all locations on company premises.

Please note:

  • Face masks / mouth-nose coverings must be worn during all meetings.
  • Keep your distance - the minimum distance is 1.5 m (also in our meeting rooms).
  • Only textile mouth-nose coverings are allowed. Visors are not allowed
  • Pulling your pullover up over your face or alternative provisional substitutes for a face mask are not allowed.
  • Disposable face masks are available in our application form.

We have established behavioural guidelines for our employees as regards the coronavirus: these include no hand-shaking, keeping a distance to contact persons, making the wearing of mouth / nose protection compulsory all over company premises, and mounting disinfection points all over the company.

We have also set up a coronavirus info blog in our corporate intranet where all information on the topic is collected. We communicate all internal measures and decisions transparently to all employees.

We are also still refraining from business trips especially to risk areas, continuing to engage in telephone or video conferences instead. This also applies for forthcoming customer visits. We have taken these measures to protect our employees, customers and visitors.

At the moment, COVID-19 is not affecting our ability to supply. The depth of our inhouse production means we are not as dependent as other companies in the sector. We also remain in regular contact with our key suppliers – most of whom are based in Germany or in nearby countries.

The production dates are currently not affected by coronavirus. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic situation can change any day, it is difficult to predict how things will proceed. For coordination purposes, please let us know in good time whether your company/incoming goods department has been closed.

We continue to follow all developments and recommendations and heed the advice of the Robert Koch Institute and our local public health office, with which we are in regular contact.

Best wishes from Oerlinghausen – stay well !
