Oliver François, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global CMO, stated: “The best way to celebrate FIAT‘s 125 years is to start writing the first pages of our future, starting with the new Grande Panda.” The new model, designed in Centro Stile in Turin, Italy, is based on a global platform and gives FIAT the opportunity to expand its worldwide reach.
Fiat Grande Panda: Developed in Italy for the world
At just 3.99-meters long, the compact Fiat Grande Panda can carry five people and combines robust, structured lines with a cool personality and surprising details. The model was developed to convey strength and uniqueness in a convincing dynamic design.
The exterior of the Grande Panda combines structured lines and bold surfaces which exude iconic Italian design in bright body colours. The front features a compact design with a distinctive new personality, defined by precise lines and a unique light signature. The silhouette is reminiscent of the classic Panda of the 1980s, and the robust “C” pillars reinforce the impression of stability and road holding.
The rear’s pronounced wheel arches and clear design confer a protective and stable appearance. The 17“ diamond-cut alloy wheels and stylized X design amplify the futuristic look.
Innovative drive types
The new Grande Panda is built on a multi-energy platform which supports various types of drive, including electric and hybrid. This enables FIAT to accommodate the differing needs and preferences of customers all over the world, and simultaneously promote the transition to sustainable mobility.
The new Fiat Grande Panda embodies the future of the FIAT marque and expresses all the brands assets with its distinctive design and innovative drive technology.
