ConnAct® Client Modules
The ConnAct® modules are embedded into the Client application. They appear there as a separate menu item, but they also interact with each other.
The Map module displays all connected equipment in geo-referenced manner on a city or network map – including the latest malfunction reports in real time. Statuses are highlighted in colour, results are signalled acoustically and archived in a database. An integrated malfunction list with filter and acknowledgement functions ensures rapid overview and efficient reaction.

The O&O module enables live visualisation of equipment status via a dynamic track diagram in standard form which is continuously supplied with the latest process data. It enables monitoring and control of one or more units.
Malfunctions and important results are displayed centrally in an alarm window which automatically switch to the foreground when new reports are issued– with visual and acoustic signalling as well as the possibility of direct acknowledgement.
The operating functions in the O&O module differ according to the product variants.
For ConnAct® Online Monitoring, the focus is on “Observation“. The point controllers in the line network must function autonomously and without external influence. As a rule, they must not be operated remotely for safety and organisational reasons. Non-safety-related, standard operating functions, e. g. for remote operation of point heaters, are possible.
For ConnAct® Depot, O&O forms the user interface of the depot controller and assists all planned regular and auxiliary operations. Operation is context sensitive via the track diagram and visualisation is detailed in typical ConnAct® manner. It displays the status of the secured routes, points and signals, as well as all relevant data connections and the latest operating and registration status.
ConnAct® Depot with Vehicle Display comes with a vehicle-related operating level. Vehicles can be inserted, deleted, moved, disconnected or coupled. Vehicle movements can be planned and automated using destination parking spaces.
Thus, the module combines clear visualisation with practice-oriented operation and is a vital tool for operations.

The Controllers module enables direct access to all project-planned HN-P and HVIP controllers – via serial interfaces, Ethernet or OOServer, also in parallel with different types. Controllers and components are clearly presented in a tree structure. Extensive functions are available for online diagnosis, for example read-out of message memories, display of digital/analog signals and recording of measured data.
If activated, Offline diagnostic functions are also possible.

With the EventViewer module, operating sequences that have taken place in the past can be reconstructed in detail graphically in a track diagram or in tabular form. Results can be selectively analysed and exported for documentation in PDF or CSV format. An efficient tool for evaluation and verification procedures.

Malfunctions and results can be selectively filtered and statistically evaluated with the Report module. The results can be displayed as reports, printed or stored in CSV and PDF format.

The Administration module enables user administration with which user groups can be created and authorisation profiles allocated. Various rights can be defined for control centre and maintenance staff, for example to the usable ConnAct® modules and their functions.
Apart from user administration, the module also comprises functions for administration of vehicles, malfunction and suppression filters, de-commissioning and heating capacity.
