Device for measuring holding force/trailing resistance

With the help of this device, the real trailing resistance can be measured taking tongue forces (friction etc.) into consideration. The pressure sensor mounted on the pressure fitting determines the trailing resistance of the overall system (point + point machine).

If only the holding force of the point machine is to be measured without inclusion of the tongue forces using a classic measuring pin in the drive rods, the device can also be supplied with a simple pressure fitting without sensors.

The device is mounted in vertical and horizontal direction on the upper side of the track and thus does not require free space on the lower side of the track.
