Point machines for the MVB's North depot

IFTEC GmbH & Co.KG Leipzig appointed HANNING & KAHL to supply 50 electro-hydraulic point machines of the 61 series for their new Nord Depot in the Magdeburg Rothensee industrial and commercial estate. HANNING & KAHL will also be commissioning the point machines on site. The point machines will be supplied in several batches and delivery will be planned and transacted in cooperation with our principal IFTEC in Leipzig. Construction of the Nord depot started in September 2021 and is scheduled to end as planned by Magdeburger Verkehrsbetriebe in 2026. Apart from a stabling hall, a new workshop for tram vehicles, an administration building and a central recyling yard are to be constructed.
