HANNING & KAHL shone on the North American stage at the RSSI and APTA 2023

The American Public Transport Association (APTA) hosts the APTA Expo every three years. This year, APTA invited their members and exhibitors to Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. From 09 to 11 October, visitors and exhibitors exchanged information on the latest developments and trends on the rails and the roads. by Christian Schulte

This year, HANNING & KAHL exhibited at the APTA Expo for the third time in a row. It was a new start for the APTA Expo after the Covid-19 pandemic. Interest in the event was considerably greater than at the last APTA Expo 2021 (postponed from 2020 to 2021). Our Rolling Stock team made many new contacts and cultivated existing relationships. We took the opportunity to present HANNING & KAHL and our range of products to transport providers and to exchange information. From our point of view, the North American mass transit market holds great potential and HANNING & KAHL plans to continue to increase its activities there going forward.

We look forward to exhibiting again at the next APTA Expo from 4 to 7 October 2026 in Chicago.

As a trade association for the communication and signal segment of the rail transportation industry, Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI) represents 240 member companies, and is continuing to grow. Their annual Communication & Signaling Exhibition (C & S EXPO) took place from 01.10.23 to 04.10.23 in Indianapolis – and it was an impressive event. by Christian Schmidt

The RSSI C & S EXPO is an excellent platform for presenting innovative products and services in the field of rail transportation. The HANNING & KAHL Infrastructure team, from Bridgeport and Oerlinghausen, proudly showcased its latest solutions for signaling and vehicle detection. We displayed our reliable microprocessor controller, our communication systems and our advanced switch machines.

Our valued business partners SECA, ATSI and Railliance also ensured a varied and dynamic presentation on our joint stand. The RSSI expo is thus just not a platform for products, but also for valuable personal meetings with customers.

We look forward to showcasing at the next RSSI C & S EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky in 2024.
