The title may sound paradoxical. Yet it has always been our goal as a medium-sized Oerlinghausen-based family company to be close to our customers – no matter where they are in the world.  By Eelco Hoedemaker

Our safety-relevant products, for example the ultra-modern braking systems, require special attention to ensure the safety and availability of your vehicle fleet. This is our ambition from the technical planning of a project until the final days of a vehicle which is often 30 to 40 years in service. 

Although we focus on straightforward handling and preventive maintenance when design engineering and constructing our systems, many unpredictable things can happen during such long operating periods. This is why we offer training workshops to enable your teams to carry out simple repairs and replace components themselves. 

Capacities and competencies are often not available for more complex and extensive maintenance tasks like reconditioning or general overhauls – in particular with today’s shortages of skilled labour. This is where our parent company in Oerlinghausen comes into play. With decades of experience and an extensive range of services, we are your reliable partner for efficient and high-quality maintenance. These services are regularly used and greatly appreciated by our customers. We also offer upgrades of older components.

Some of our international representatives have qualified as official service partners. This means that our European customers profit from rapid and efficient support from both our parent company and from our certified service partners on site. Our service partners have all the necessary special-purpose tools and are regularly trained on the vehicles operated in their areas in order to be able to offer you best possible service. We are also optimally positioned outside of Europe. In the USA and China, we have our own service stations as well as service partners. We have been providing service activities for rolling stock in China since 2013 and are currently expanding our workshop in Bridgeport/Philadelphia. Our braking systems are already working in light-rail systems in Chicago and Vancouver and are also planned for new vehicles in Calgary and Cleveland. Thanks to our local Philadelphia workshop, we can now offer swift and efficient service work in North America, too.

Our service partners and subsidiaries are in close contact with the parent company in Oerlinghausen and are supported by our development and design engineering departments. This enables us to efficiently solve even complex tasks and modernisation projects.
