Today, I would like to pick up on some key thoughts expressed by the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) at the InnoTrans by taking four core messages and illustrating them with success stories and facts relating to HANNING & KAHL.

The rail industry is a pro-climate industry.
For over 100 years, the rail industry has been successfully focusing on electromobility and thus making a significant contribution to climate protection. HANNING & KAHL supports this development with long-life and sustainable products which have been working in operations for our customers often for 40 years and longer.

The rail industry is a high-tech industry.
Our sector is driven by innovative technologies which must ensure the highest availability and safety. Passengers all over the world place their trust in the solutions provided by HANNING & KAHL which make a decisive contribution to safe and efficient operations.

The rail industry is a global industry.
Around the globe, the rail industry works on challenging and pioneering projects. We, too, at HANNING & KAHL, a medium-sized company, are proud of being present on six continents with an export share of 70 %.

What makes work in the rail industry so special is personal contact to our customers. We work closely together with organisations and people who we know and value highly. Staff contribution to a project is often directly visible – whether it be commissioning a new system or supplying a vehicle.
