Public Transport – A Plus for Everyone

Dear Readers,

In the business year 2024 we once again increased our turnover, and also significantly improved our processes. We also have considerably optimised our delivery reliability and plan to continue on our chosen path with further measures designed to increase customer satisfaction. Of course, there is still much to be done, and we intend to tackle open issues in the year ahead.

The high demand shows us that public transport remains a growth sector: as is impressively evidenced by the number of new projects in our order books, the positive resonance at the InnoTrans and many new project enquiries. The main thing is that there is no slackening of political support because public transport is geared towards the common good and makes an important contribution to climate protection.

2024 brought many occasions for exchange – the InnoTrans in September was an excellent venue for engaging with our business partners. We have many meetings on our agenda for 2025: events hosted by our Brake and Infrastructure Divisions will offer new opportunities for direct dialogue with customers about new technical developments and requirements. We shall be participating in ten trade fairs across the globe, taking every opportunity to be close to our customers.

But now Christmas is approaching, and the new year is not far off.

I wish you and your families and friends all the joys of the holiday season and a good start to 2025 in the hope that the new year will bring us all good health and many positive meetings.

Cordial greetings from Oerlinghausen

Christian Schmidt
Managing Director
